Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media, Lumiere builds her canvases through a multi-layered process, where vibrant colors and varied textures create a sense of both depth and energy. The uniqueness of that technique lies in a meticulous layering process, where the application of thin, translucent glazes of color interacts with one another to produce an ethereal luminosity that pulsates with a quiet internal light.

The artist does not predetermine compositions, instead she listens—at times to the canvas, at other times to her inner voice, and occasionally to a force greater than herself. And then strong symbols and bright narratives that resonate on a profound, visceral level begin their birth.

Lumiere began her career during what she describes as the "second beginning" of her life. Eschewing formal training and expectations, she allowed her inner aesthetics to emerge. Today, her work has ascended to international prominence, gracing prestigious exhibitions, museum projects and art fairs.
